Since 2023, we have been sending plastic films and cardboard boxes for recycling. In this way, we reduce waste and contribute to a more resource-efficient circular economy.

45% of our electricity contracts already draw green power. Through this, we promote the use of renewable energy and contribute to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions.

We optimize the storage of our items based on their sales performance and strategically place them in the appropriate warehouses. This reduces internal transport routes and avoids unnecessary trips.

In 2025, around 12% of our incoming goods by weight consisted of recycled polyester certified according to GRS. By using recycled polyester fibers, we can reduce the use of new, fossil-based raw materials.

Since 2025, we have been using Lyocell (TENCEL™) as an alternative fiber for selected items, expanding the material diversity in our product range. The fiber is obtained from wood as a renewable raw material, offering an alternative to conventional, petroleum-based fibers.

We have optimized the box filling specifications for our suppliers. In this way, we avoid both unnecessary packaging consumption from oversized boxes and damage caused by overfilled boxes. At the same time, box weights are aligned with a recommended lifting weight for our warehouse employees, supporting more ergonomic working conditions.

We maintain long-term and collaborative relationships with our suppliers. Continuous cooperation builds trust and provides our partners with greater predictability and security, allowing them to plan for the long term and rely on a dependable partnership.

Selected products in our range are certified with the Green Button 2.0 (Grüner Knopf 2.0). This government-run textile seal sets standards for social and ecological responsibility along the textile supply chain. These include steps toward living wages, promoting grievance mechanisms at supplier sites, and systematically analyzing and addressing risks in our textile supply chains.

We are a member of amfori and use amfori BSCI for the independent evaluation of social standards in our supply chain. Key areas assessed include working conditions, health and safety, and compliance with labor rights.

A binding Code of Conduct based on the OECD sector risks in the textile sector applies to our suppliers. It encompasses 13 principles – from labor and human rights to chemical, water, and waste management, as well as greenhouse gas reduction and anti-corruption prohibition.

The OEKO-TEX®️ STANDARD 100 sets the benchmark for textile safety, from yarn to finished end product. Every product carrying this label has successfully passed laboratory testing for harmful substances.

At the accredited German testing laboratory LABTECH Prüfungsgesellschaft mbH, we test our materials and products according to standardized testing methods for washing properties, functionality, and harmful substances. These tests are an essential part of our quality assurance along the value chain.
